In March 2019 we committed to fight for better scrutiny. The new Green Party Group at Mid Sussex District Council have proposed reducing Scrutiny from three to two committees.
But only by selecting difficult policy and doing it well, not superficially as it is done at present. Amazingly important policy made by the executive such as the future of Clair Hall, climate change strategy and the installation of Electric Vehicle Charging in public car parks have not being scrutinised.
