I am a Parish Councillor already. I speak up for residents and the environment.

I am both driven and organised and my responsibilities in the Parish Council include working with all aspects of the environment for Colgate and I also represent the area on both the Horsham District Council Climate Change and Wilder Horsham initiatives.

I’m also a member of the very active community based Memorial Hall Committee and Chair of a local Residents Association. Building communities and protecting our natural environment are two things which are very important to me.

I am determined to work hard and make real improvements to residents’ lives.

I have a Degree in History from University College London and a PGDE and Masters in Transformational Leadership from Canterbury Christ Church University (with Distinction) and I am a qualified teacher. I have the skills to do the job.

Protecting this beautiful place, which has a past and a future, for residents and for generations to come, is my main priority. As your Green councillor I will use my organisational skills to look at the detail of planning applications and at policies which will affect the area.

Giving young people a voice is very important to me. I always work hard and like to get the job done. I’m determined to make sure that my young son, and all our children, grow up to a future worth having.

I believe in a fairer society for everyone and will work hard to make that a reality for people in Storrington & Washington ward by speaking up for better homes, cheaper public transport, cleaner air and improved public services.

As a Parham Parish Councillor I have already stepped up to serve the community. Excessive traffic levels and rat-running through Storrington and Washington are massive issues, and of course the knock-on air pollution. I want urgent action to tackle it!

If elected, I will work hard at Council to support traffic action, help those in need and protect our unique environment, all year round, not just at election time.

With a Degree in Psychology, I joined the Civil Service in 1983 and worked in various information technology roles over the years, specialising in IT Security. When I took early retirement, after 27 years of service, I was Head of Information Assurance in the Ministry of Justice.

I was elected as the Green councillor for Storrington & Amberley ward in an historic by-election win in April 2022. I am a local resident and care deeply about keeping our area a great place to live and work in. As councillor I’ve worked hard over the past year to speak up for our area at Horsham District Council.

I am a trustee of Sandgate Conservation Society and also member of Storrington Conservation Society, helping to take care of local green spaces: Sandgate Park, Sullington Warren, Fryern Dell and the Riverside Walk.

I care passionately about Storrington & Washington ward and our wonderful environment. I have been living in and involved with the Washington community for many years. Whilst my children were at primary school, I was the Chair of the PTA and organised the Washington Village Day and fundraising events. I’m a co-director of Moore Barton Wilding, a conservation and nature connection project on the edge of Dartmoor.

Residents want protected green spaces, traffic calming, clean rivers, safer paths, better cycle routes and buses and a thriving community – and that’s what I will prioritise. I will work hard for the things that matter to you.

I have a Degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and PhD in Applied Social Sciences from Brighton University. As well as running a bicycle repair business, I am now studying e-cargo bike use with an international academic research team at Brighton University with a view to understanding better the barriers to more people engaging in active travel like walking and cycling.

I love living in our friendly town and am determined to do all I can to help make it even better. With three children at Steyning Grammar School I’m keen to speak up for young people too.

With a Degree in Biology and a Masters in Forensic Science I have an analytical brain. I’m proud to say I’ve been a Parish Councillor for Colgate Parish Council for six years, where my responsibilities include Health & Safety checks and input into planning meetings. I’ve recently worked hard to make sure that a planning-agreed permissive path is made available to the public. I’m also member of the Buchan Park Advisory Group.

As Steyning and Ashurst’s Green councillor I would use my business and organisational skills to keep an eye on Council expenditure and make sure it goes to the right places. I always work hard and like to get the job done.

With a Degree in Psychology from University College Swansea and a PGCE from Manchester University I understand people well. I am passionate about serving the community.

I started teaching in Africa with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO). I’ve worked as a teacher in Surrey and Sussex schools and became a professional painter when I retired 10 years ago. I also volunteered for Mindfulness in Schools Project which was incredibly rewarding.

I currently volunteer with Action For Happiness and Sussex Green Living. I see everything I’m doing as community-building.

In 2020 I became a Neighbourhood Councillor in Horsham Trafalgar and I am proud to currently be the Council’s Chair. I am proud too that I was part of the Keep Rookwood Green team, successfully opposing plans to build 1,200 houses on our publicly-owned local golf course. I see standing as your Green councillor for Pulborough, Coldwaltham & Amberley ward as a continuation of my life’s work for people and community.

Being a Pulborough Parish Councillor has been a great honour and has been an opportunity to use skills learned in my long and varied career.

I started my career as an electronics engineer. I then moved into Business Transformation, working at Director level and later as Programme Director, leading some complex and large-scale programmes for different organisations including Coca Cola, Virgin and The Post Office. I joined the Civil Service 10 years ago, where I was Head of Data and Analytics at UK Export Finance

This election is about whether you want hard working local Greens speaking up for Pulborough, Coldwaltham & Amberley ward – or yet more Conservatives who only show up at election time.
