Councillor for Burgess Hill Town Council and Mid Sussex District Council, for St Andrews Ward, Burgess Hill
Having lived in Burgess Hill for 20 years I was drawn to joining the local Green Party shortly after 2016, following the EU Referendum and the lack of representation I saw in the three bigger political parties.
I have been a Green Party Councillor for Burgess Hill St Andrew’s since 2019. I am working to improve modal shift so that more people have the opportunity to cycle, walk and use alternative methods for local transport. Protecting our precious green spaces and ensuring sustainable and nature-friendly considerations are always part of the conversation at council is important to me.
With my fellow Green Councillors, we are a proactive opposition to the Lib Dem controlled councils, and hold them to account at every opportunity.
