Alex Langridge
I moved from Brighton to East Grinstead eight years ago and have enjoyed getting to know the town and the surrounding area. I joined the Green Party because I wanted to do something to help address the environmental issues that I first become aware of over 30 years ago when I studied Geography at the University of Sussex.
By standing as a candidate, I believe I offer people in East Grinstead more choice when voting and a chance to voice their concerns about the environment crisis we are facing.
My work since 2012 has involved delivering training to improve mental health and wellbeing and I see developing a healthy connection to nature as an important part of this.
Things that make me happy are gardening, walking my dog in local woods and swimming outdoors throughout the year.
If elected I would support plans and policies that enhance life for local people and improve and protect the natural environment.
