I have been a Green Party member for 20 years and was elected as a Mid Sussex District Councillor along with three others in 2019. I'm now standing for re-election.
I am a retired electrical power engineer and have good understanding of energy and hence CO2 generated in industry, homes, by travel and by food production and waste.
I am disappointed by this Council's lack of commitment to promote proactive sustainable policy in response to the Climate Emergency.
I look forwards to a more politically balanced Council where upcoming policy will be made known to all Councillors and scrutinised for its response to the climate change emergency that will increasingly adversely affect future generations life on planet earth.
