I have lived in Burgess Hill for over 20 years and my kids were educated at the Gattons, Southway and Oakmeeds schools.
I am passionate about nature conservation and am a Committee member of the Friends of Burgess Hill Green Circle Network. Until recently I was the Burgess Hill Tree Warden.
If elected, one of my main priorities will be to ensure that nature and sustainability are at the heart of the new northern arc housing development.
Access to nature is crucial to both physical and mental well-being and must not be sacrificed for more developers profit. I will also campaign for a safer and more sustainable transport system in the town. A new safe cycle/walk way between Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath should be a priority for the Council to cater for the thousands of extra journeys that will be made once the northern arc is built out.
I will provide a fresh and positive voice on the Town Council.
