I am a Pulborough Parish Councillor. I have worked in Financial Services for 30 years and currently work for a Global insurance broker as an Employee Benefits Consultant.
Residents want protected green spaces, traffic calming , clean rivers, safer paths, better cycle routes and buses and a thriving community - and that’s what I will prioritise.
The A29 – the situation with the road closure has caused great inconvenience to local people and real damage to local businesses.
Planning – as the A29 situation has proved, the infrastructure of Pulborough village is already under strain and unnecessary developments need to be resisted and if homes are built, they need to be affordable and sustainable.
Recreation – in other areas of the district, leisure facilities such as the Warnham nature reserve and Rookwood Golf course have come under pressure from development. Leisure facilities need to be saved and improved, not built on.
I will work hard for the things that matter to you by supporting traffic action, helping those in need and protecting our unique environment - all year round, not just at election time.
