Joan Grech

Joan has lived in Storrington for 13 years with her partner George. Joan was born in London of Maltese parents.

A psychology graduate, Joan joined the Civil Service in 1983 and worked in various information technology roles, specialising in IT Security.

When Joan took early retirement after 27 years of service, she was Head of Information Assurance in the Ministry of Justice.

Joan is an active member of Storrington Conservation Society and of the Sandgate Conservation Society where she’s a member of the trustee committee. As Secretary, Joan regularly drafts and submits comments on relevant planning applications and local development plans on their behalf.
