Caroline Mendes
I have enjoyed family life in Franklands Ward Haywards Heath for nearly 30 years and before that I lived in Burgess Hill and Ditchling.
I have always worked locally and have grown to love how unique Mid Sussex is and what it has to offer. I have been a member of Friends of the Earth for 40 years and joined the RSPB from a young age.
Being a keen birdwatcher I have monitored bird populations with Garden Birdwatch through the British Trust of Ornithology since I moved to the town and witnessed the demise of our wildlife during this time.
I like to cycle, I car share with family members, I volunteer locally and work at the Princess Royal Hospital as a Medical Secretary.
A keen member of the Green Party, I believe that our Council will be more accountable and better balanced for local people if there is more green representation.
My key aims are improving infrastructure and building a stronger community that we can all be proud of.
